CAMPING WITH CPP
You read that right―we’re doing a camping excursion! A couple of years prior to our incorporation, the Chicago Puppy Patrol would venture outside the city for a weekend of camping. We haven’t had a chance to plan this kind of event in several years but our club Officers have been working to bring back this summertime activity!
The event will be Fri 6/7-Sun 6/9 at Sir Justin’s in Leaf River, IL. Since the event will be happening away from our home turf, it’s the event coordinators’ goal to make the weekend event as convenient, accessible, inclusive, and fun as possible! The event coordinators will handle food logistics and assist with travel planning.
Want to attend or know more about the event? Our website has a dedicated event page for this event with basic event information, some Q&As, and event info signup to let us know that you’re interested in attending. Keep in mind that signing up for information is so that we can keep you up-to-date and make you a part of any necessary logistics conversation―it is NOT a hard commitment for the event. The earlier you indicate your interest, the sooner we can provide more event information.
WE LOVE NUDES, BUT...
As many have heard, we will be disbanding the NSFW CPP Telegram chat. This took several hours of deliberation by multiple Board years. We want to assure you that this is by no means a move to censor the adult nature of our club. At this time, we’re working to strengthen our existing partnerships and pursuing new opportunities with area dungeons and sex-ed institutions.
Since incorporating, our club has encountered a number of new regulations, both in legal and reputation, that we have had to weigh against our existing offerings to our community. Most of these―legal red tape, annual filings, and taxes―are openly worked in the background by the Board so that our Members don’t have to. This particular move is both in consideration of broad and vague public regulations like FOSTA/SESTA and in the general safety to our club’s community offerings. While we can hold our Members to certain standards―like our Code of Conduct and Bylaws―our chats are public, therefore making it more difficult to enforce policies when not everyone involved has agreed to them and when we’re unsure of user intent.
With all of that being said, it is with a heavy heart that we announce that as of Sun 3/31 at 11:59pm CST, all users and content will be removed from CPP’s NSFW Telegram chat. Please use this as an opportunity to network with local friends if you’d like to find other NSFW Telegram resources. If you are wanting to stay connected with our social media services, check out our PG-13 Telegram chat and our Facebook group.
REGISTRATION IS OPEN
2019 membership registration is open! The Chicago Puppy Patrol consisted of 71 official Members last year. After only one month, we’re well on our way to matching (and likely beating) that number! Registration takes only a couple minutes and comes with a number of perks. View the associated perks via the below link and select the membership option that applies to you. If you were a Member in 2018, remember to use your 20% discount code for dues!
WHO 'LOGO-ES' THERE?
A local artist and friend of the Chicago Puppy Patrol, Doodlebear, has been working on some fresh new CPP logos based on our current design and with feedback from the 2018 and 2019 Boards. After numerous concepts and drafts, he would like to present three ideas which reflect our club’s spirit. In the coming weeks, these designs will be shared with the 2019 Members for feedback. After some time to review the proposed logos, all 2019 Members will have an opportunity to vote for their favorite logo―existing or new―which will represent the Chicago Puppy Patrol going forward.
If you wish to provide feedback about the proposed designs and vote on the upcoming logo ballot, please complete membership registration by Mon 4/1. By doing this, you are guaranteeing yourself the maximum time and input ahead of the final vote.
Yours in service,
The Chicago Puppy Patrol Board
